Policy text
Discovery on Map.ca is ordered by location, tag relevance, and platform-defined quality rules. No paid ranking. No hidden sponsored placement. No behavioural manipulation. Results carry a clear explanation of why they appear when a user asks.
This policy applies to every Map.ca surface that ranks or sorts Pins, to AI tools that personalize discovery, and to ambassadors or partners proposing changes to ranking. The No Paid Placement Policy is the commercial commitment; this is the operational one.
